Re-opening the junctions at James Lean Avenue and Woodburn Road
Following the installation of the pipeline crossings at the Newmills Road junctions with James Lean Avenue and Woodburn Road, both roads have safely re-opened under a one-way traffic system.
Update to our works at Old Fordell Tunnel
Thank you for your patience and understanding whilst our works continue to manage the underground mine water levels.
We have now successfully replaced the pump at Woodburn Court and our pumping operations continue to control the underground water levels.
We are continuing to investigate options for developing a permanent solution to transport the mine water. Once we have further details to share, we will arrange another community meeting to keep residents fully informed.
Works restarted at our mine water treatment site
Construction work is progressing at the mine water treatment site.
Community Liaison Officer
This week our Community Liaison Officer, Sarah McDaid, has been out and about speaking with residents. Sarah is available to speak with residents and help with any questions or concerns they may have.
Sarah will be available Monday 1-5pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9-2pm.
