Dunvant Road update: 13 October 2025

We wanted to give you an update on our progress to repair the ground collapse on Dunvant Road and to thank you for your patience as we complete these works.  

Our works to repair the ground collapse 

As you know, we have been working to repair the road since 10 February to make sure this can be reopened as soon as possible.  

We have now completed most of our works and have redesigned our plans for the final section of the road to ensure the work is carried out safely. This means we should be able to fully open the road by the middle of November. We are working closely with our contractors and the Local Authority to meet this date. We’re sorry for this further delay. 

We understand works of this nature can be disruptive and unsettling and we will continue to support the local community as the works progress. We will continue to do all we can to minimise disruption to residents by continuing to keep driveways accessible and ensuring that our work is conducted during normal working hours.
